The KnovaSolutions professional clinicians will talk with you and your family about healthcare providers, medications and quality of life issues to assist you in improving your decision making. KnovaSolutions’ staff will educate you about the risks and benefits associated with multiple providers, tests, procedures and medications in order to help you better communicate with your providers. These services are intended to enhance, not replace the patient-doctor relationship.
If you or your family member are identified as someone who may benefit from KnovaSolutions’ services, you will:
- Receive a letter that informs you that you are eligible for the supportive services.
- Be contacted by your personal nurse at home or work by phone for a brief consultation. The first phone call usually takes 30 minutes to get started, and you determine how often and how long you want to talk for each appointment.
- Schedule appointments to talk with your KnovaSolutions’ team, according to your requests for clinical or health information. Your nurse will check in with you to help you focus on your health goals.
Optional membership is initially for one year. Many members voluntarily extend their membership for multiple years based on their personal situation and need.
KnovaSolutions is completely confidential. No personal health data is shared with PG&E, and any personal health information you provide to the KnovaSolutions staff is protected by HIPAA privacy standards. This worthwhile service is provided at no cost to you, participation is voluntary, and you may choose to decline this service.
