PG&E's success is based on the engagement and retention of talented PG&E employees. The Service Award Program recognizes and celebrates employee service milestones every five years and at retirement. Full- or part-time employees with at least five years of service are eligible to participate. If an employee leaves PG&E and returns at a later date, the most recent hire date is used to determine eligibility for service awards.
Employees that are eligible for a service award and have a company email address will receive an email congratulating them on their service milestone and instructions to select a gift. Additionally, in an effort to deliver service award certificates while many employees are working remotely, service award recipients will receive an email with a digital certificate attached. If the employee wishes to print their certificate, they may send the digital certificate to a personal email address and print from home.
Service awards are an opportunity for you to publicly recognize your employee's efforts in helping PG&E provide safe, affordable and reliable service every day. An electronic service award will be sent directly to your employee. As their leader, you will receive an email notification informing you of your employee's service award recognition. Please take a moment to recognize and thank your employee for their service.
Supervisors and delegates can quickly and easily review their employees’ annual service anniversaries at any time.
