Accessing myPlans Connect

The way you access myPlans Connect depends on whether you are connected to the PG&E network or not.

  • If you’re already logged into the PG&E network, go to PG&E@Work For Me > About Me > My Benefits > myPlans Connect and you’ll be automatically logged in to your myPlans Connect account.
  • If you are at home or otherwise not connected to the PG&E network, you will have to log in with your username and password for myPlans Connect.

The first time you access myPlans Connect when you are not logged into the PG&E network, you will need to create a unique username and password. When you get to the myPlans Connect login page, click on the “Get Started” button under “New Users.” Then, follow the prompts to register your account. You’ll use the last four digits of your Social Security number, your last name, date of birth and ZIP code to identify yourself. Once you enter those, you can create your own username and password. You will also be asked to provide the answers to some security questions, which will allow you to easily reset your login information if you forget it in the future.

Logging in securely
myPlans Connect uses multi-factor authentication to keep your information secure. Each time you log in outside of PG&E@Work For Me, you’ll need your:

  • User ID
  • Password
  • Temporary numeric code that will be sent to your email address or mobile phone number (you’ll need to receive a new code each time you log in)

Be sure to use a unique, long password—at least eight characters—to help keep your account secure.
